Vattenfall-IT is the internal provider of IT for the entire Vattenfall Group, including Nuon. Vattenfall-IT is an International Staff Function that provides efficient and reliable IT-services and support. Vattenfall-IT has around 1.400 employees spread across Vattenfall companies in Denmark, Finland, Germany, Poland and Sweden.
As Head of IT for Operation Solutions of Vattenfall Production, Asset Development and Optimization: The Operation Solutions team is responsible for IT consulting, all project activities and application management for IT solutions in the area of plant and mining operations support, process management, health and safety, knowledge management etc. This includes IT solutions such as work clearance management, shift book, product lifecycle management, coal logistics, co-combustion management, etc. Furthermore, the role includes responsibility for the IT solutions for BU Heat and Industry Parks in the Netherlands. The head of Operation Solutions reports to the head of Production, Asset Development and Optimization IT. The main responsibilities are: Managerial responsibility for a team of approximately 20 internal and 20 external employees in Netherlands Managerial responsibility for a team leader in Germany, who manages a team of approximately 20 internal employees in Berlin and Cottbus People development of the direct reports and resource planning Responsible for IT projects in the area of operations solutions Responsible for application management in the area of operations solutions Building up and maintaining relationships with Vattenfall internal customers Further development of operation solutions in Sweden and international harmonization of solutions Represent IT Supply unit in project steering meetings Budget responsibility Monthly reporting Our ideal head of operation solutions
You have an academic degree in IT, technical engineering, mathematics, science or comparable. You are an IT Manager with experience in managing teams in an engineering / production environment for at least 3 years. You are experienced in both program management and people management. Furthermore we are looking for somebody with:
